This most spectacular building of Gaudi's is perfectly located in Barcelona. It fit the personality of this quixotic Mediterranean city most appropriately. The studio which I rented for eight months was located in Palamos, a fishing town some fifty or so kilometres north, on the Costa-Brava coastline. Visiting Barcelona and the Sagrada Familia was a treat which I had the privilege and pleasure of enjoying several times during the months between September 1990 and April 1991.
