"At the end of the year (1994) from the back room studio came two very different paintings. I had begun the painting of the arts project that I would call Sacred Sites. Two sacred site moonlit paintings were here now. One of the Anglican Cathedral Liverpool - the other of St Basil’s Moscow, spirited from that visit five years earlier. So these two paintings would represent the start of the new creative undertaking. It would be a visual arts project for the millennium. I would call it the Harmony and Diversity of Sacred - Sites a multi - Faith Millennium Project. Later, as suggested, I would shorten this mouthful to be called by the easier way of Sacred - Sites. I was now making definite adjustments to my life to facilitate this project - starting with selling all freestanding furniture including the bed".
